Advanced Dragon Workshop
For those who are ready to move on to something more than our basic dragon workshop, this is an extensive look into the finer details of creating larger dragons. In this workshop, you will learn to create a dragon around 6 inches long from nose to tail and learn how to support it with a proper armature. Creating limbs and wings will be explored as well as playing with scale textures, spikes, horns, ears and more. The tips and techniques you will learn in this class will help you to create more amazing dragons over the years. Melanie has been compiling all the methods you will learn in this workshop into a book for later publication - get a jump start on it now!
This is what we consider a master class - the dragons you will learn to sculpt are true works of art - show pieces akin to the pieces Melanie creates for exhibitions and galleries.
Approx. Time: This is a 2 session class of approximately 3 hours each including bake time. This can be scheduled over multiple dates as polymer clay will not dry out between sessions.
REQUIREMENTS: You must have completed our basic dragon sculpting class first.
Age: 12+
Fee: $100 includes entire workshop and materials.
